Color Me Rad is coming to Wilmington with a wave of color that will bring tears of joy to your eyes and brighten your outlook on life as you know it.
Color Me Rad is the 5K that ushers runners through a world of color bombs, color throws, and color blasters. Each section of the run adds a new explosion of color to your get-up until you cross the finish line into a full color festival. How often do you get to color-bomb your clothes and support deserving student-athletes at the same time? Here's your chance.
Color bombs will start flying promptly at 9am as waves of runners get doused in color every few minutes after - including a station dedicated to Seahawk teal!
So quit lollygagging and join us for the race that's been ruining all other 5Ks since 2012 at Color Me Rad Wilmington.
Color Me Rad: gluten-free running since 2012 (all previous years were full of gluten).
Packet Pick-up details will be available 3 weeks prior to the race date. It is important to pick up your packets (race bib, t-shirt, sunglasses, tattoo) prior to race morning because lines can get a little out of control and you don't want to miss your wave time do you? Do you?

The mission of the Seahawk Club is to support, strengthen and develop the athletic programs at UNCW by raising funds to support athletic scholarships and the improvement of facilities. The Seahawk Club strives to provide scholarships for approximately 360 student-athletes each year.
In the past year, UNCW athletic teams have averaged a 3.12 GPA, have contributed 2,045 hours to the community in community service and have achieved much athletic success. UNCW Athletic programs claimed three CAA Championships in the 2012-2013 year, including men's tennis, men's golf and men's swimming and diving. Overall, three teams competed in NCAA events (baseball, men's golf and men's tennis) while individuals competed in the men's and women's track and field regional, women's golf regional and women's swimming NCAA Championship. The proceeds from UNCW's Color Me Rad Run will go to support student-athlete scholarships, which gives these deserving student-athletes the opportunity to be exemplary representatives of the Wilmington community.
