If you're allergic to the metric system, corn starch, or unbridled joy, you'd probably be more comfortable watching Matlock than at the starting blocks of this color-filled 5k.
But if you're itching for a great time and not from a bad case of diaper rash, Color Me Rad is the run for you.
By intelligent design or evolution, man was meant to run for one thing and one thing only: to stay alive. Pamplona was the first real race organized for what running should be: running from stuff that's going to kill, gore, or maim you.
Luckily, we've evolved to where we only hunt for attractive potential mates, we only gather for extreme couponing, and we only run to benefit charities and our cardiovascular system.
So quit lollygagging and join us for the race that's been ruining all other 5Ks since 2012 at Color Me Rad.
Color Me Rad: gluten-free running since 2012 (all previous years were full of gluten).

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF SAN ANTONIO
Children are our future and although we like to believe that the future is long and bright, such is not always the case. Unfortunately, there are many seriously ill children whose hope for the future is measured one day at a time. These children and their families look to the Ronald McDonald Houses of San Antonio to provide shelter, food, and encouragement, and hope. Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio, Texas owns and operates 3 Ronald McDonald Houses in San Antonio where families can stay while their children are being treated at San Antonio’s various Medical Centers. These homes provide more than just a place to stay. Our homes provide a home away from home where families in similar circumstances can interact and lend and receive mutual support. Our 3 wonderful homes provide a haven for over 1600 families each year who are dealing with the serious illness of their child. Additionally, we own and operate two Family Rooms in Laredo, Texas. The Family Rooms serve as respite spaces for families utilizing these Laredo hospitals with their pediatric patients. They allow parents an opportunity to rest, relax and collect themselves while still being a close to their child.
