about color me rad

If you're allergic to the metric system, corn starch, or unbridled joy, you'd probably be more comfortable watching Matlock than at the starting blocks of this color-filled 5k.

But if you're itching for a great time and not from a bad case of diaper rash, Color Me Rad Missoula is the run for you.

By intelligent design or evolution, man was meant to run for one thing and one thing only: to stay alive. Pamplona was the first real race organized for what running should be: running from stuff that's going to kill, gore, or maim you.

Luckily, we've evolved to where we only hunt for attractive potential mates, we only gather for extreme couponing, and we only run to benefit charities and our cardiovascular system.

So quit lollygagging and join us for the race that's been ruining all other 5Ks since 2012 at Color Me Rad Missoula.

Color Me Rad: gluten-free running since 2012 (all previous years were full of gluten).

Zootown Arts Community CenterThe ZACC (Zootown Arts Community Center) is a nonprofit community arts center providing facilities and expertise. We deliver all ages art education, foster sustainable community development, and promote accessible, life-enriching art experiences for Missoula residents and visitors. By bringing working artists, artists-to-be, children, and community members together, we emphasize the richness of our own community. We teach classes to youth and adults, run an affordable after-school art program serving 80 students per month, create artistic and entrepreneurship workshops, run a gallery for emerging artists, and create community building artistic events.

The ZACC's safe, creative community center is situated in the historic neighborhood of the Northside in Missoula. We are a haven and networking space for these residents, including the many kids coming to the center by sponsorship or scholarship. Our space is available for rent and frequently used for small concerts and community events. In addition, we have a drop-in paint your own pottery studio, glass fusing studio, and printshop which is open to the public 12-6pm Monday through Saturday.

The Money from Color Me Rad will be used for scholarships for youth and adults to keep utilizing our programs, and to help us grow as an organization and offer more creative community building events.
