better to give than receive... right? I know that's a hard one to swallow for 8 year olds, but in this case, it might be true. If you want to pummel your friends and family with color rather than be pummeled, sign up HERE to volunteer and join the COLOR BOMB SQUAD. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.COURSE MAP

Camp Manitou was founded in 1930 by the following five service clubs: Rotary Club of Winnipeg, Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg, Cosmopolitan Club of Winnipeg, Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg, Optimist Club of Winnipeg and the YMCA. It was incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization in 1949 with the mission to provide an enriching camping experience for children and youth would not otherwise have the opportunity or resources to do so. The Lion’s Club of Winnipeg became a member of the charity in 1952.
Since 1997, after the YMYWCA left, the Service Clubs of Winnipeg have carried on the tradition and have enabled over 50,000 at risk children and youth to enjoy a healthy and exciting camp experience.
This past summer, Camp Manitou had a record with just over 4,000 of children and youth at risk in Manitoba with their 42 different organizations attend.
Camp Manitou’s approach differs dramatically from that of a traditional summer camp with individual children registering. Our unique model of the camping experience during the summer is to work exclusively with Manitoba youth serving non-profit organizations to bring out their children and youth from their community programs as well as schools. We provide great leadership, wonderful activities and nutritious food.
