Event Details

We’re the only 5K that will send you running through RAD color stations and leave you covered from head to toe in powders and gels of pink, yellow, green, blue, and violet. Not only will you be having healthy amounts of fun, but you’ll be getting your daily exercise in the process. To top it off, we’re making it rain with free t-shirts, a RAD temporary tattoo, and a Goo Guard phone case for all regular participants. That’s right - FREE.

Uptown Columbus

Uptown Columbus, Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 1983, along with the Uptown Business Improvement District formed 1999, facilitate and coordinate economic revitalization initiatives throughout Uptown Columbus. Each organization is governed by a separate Board of Directors.

The function of these Organizations include: acting as the official voice of the Uptown area, providing assistance to property/business owners, and rendering services, such as event programming, security and maintenance.

During the 30 plus year history of Uptown, over 500 million dollars has been invested in the area, including projects such as TSYS, Streetscapes, RiverWalk, Performing Arts Center, Columbus State University Riverfront Campus and the Chattahoochee River Park. Programming provided by Uptown generates over 100,000 visitors and on average, the area generates over $34 million dollars in gross receipts.
