Thanks to all of the runners who colored 2012 RAD! I know it seems impossible, but my New Year’s resolution is to make 2013 even RADDER than last year. In fact, my calculations project that 2013 will be the RADDEST year on record by every measurable statistic. See all of you very, very soon.

Nope, there isn’t a group registration fee. All individuals pay the same.
Do you guys provide us with a white shirt at the beginning? Or should we purchase one ourselves? Also i just wanted to say that I am super stoked about this. My New Years Resolution was to lose weight and get in shape. I signed up for this race with some friends so that we HAVE TO train for it, that way ill get exersise. This seems like a great race to run, especially as a first time runner.
No, the shirt we give you is already RAD. You should get a plain white tee that needs a little color and RADNESS!
will the RAD white shirts be fore sale on the packet pick up day or do we have to buy from the website directly?
Hey Sammie! We’ll have the RAD white shirts available at packet pickup. Get there early enough to be sure that your size doesn’t sell out!

What is the minimum age limit for the race?
Hey Taylor! There’s no age limit. Kids 7 and under run for free!

I will be walking also, I signed up with a group who have already been in a 5k, this is my first and I am trying to train for it, but you can walk with me if you want, Im gonna try to jog it but Im a speed walker.
Hey there! Just wondering about the SOLD OUT status of the Knoxville event. Will it be likely that you will open (a lot) more slots or is the waiting list only for those that drop up prior to the event? It would be 2-4 people running in my group, so I didn’t want to go on the waiting list and there only be a spot available for 1. IF you are not opening more and the waiting list is for drop outs only, then do you have an idea of when you will be returning to Knoxville? Thanks for your help.
You should definitely get on the waiting list because if we open more spots, we will open enough for your whole team to sign up. But you’ll wanna act fast. A lot of people wanna get RAD.
My son will be 7 months in March for the race at Jackson.. Is that too young? We were going to pull him in a wagon
Definitely not too young! You might wanna cover him for the COLOR BOMB stations. Things can get very colorful there and we wouldn’t want your son to get color directly in his face. That would not be too RAD for a baby.
do we have to run the whole 5k or are we able to walk if need be?
We welcome RAD walkers as well!
My husband and I just signed up for the Omaha/CB RAD…this will be our first…however, I don’t run but am excited to walk and experience the whole COLOR ME RAD… and I too enjoyed your sense of humor on the FAQ pages…very enlightening… I’m all for the Special Olympics as well..great idea!!!

A race was just added for Bethlehem, PA. Any idea on when the registration will open? I want to make sure I am to sign up in case of a sell out. I will have like 6 or 7 people running with me.

Thanks! I got registered this morning! Im so stoked! Now my next question is what about packet pick up…Last year it was on hot mess the wait was very hot and long. Can you try and make this flow better?
Yes, there is nothing RAD about a hot and long line. We’re doing our best to make sure that the experience is 110% RAD from packet pickup to the final COLOR BOMB.
Can packets be picked up on race day?
Yep, but you’ll need to get there extra early so that you don’t get stuck in traffic/lines.

any suggestions for a mask or goggles, Im a dope and signed up for a color me rad and I have asthma, and my eyes get very irritated easily. So I will need protective gear.
We will provide some RAD sunglasses and painters masks work well for asthma
First time to this event and my girls and I had lots of fun!! too bad I didn’t bring my boys I thought I was not going to be able to handle all four children but the event is more family oriented than what I thought it would be. love it!! Feb 2nd Miami Gardens Rad

You can sign up as a group. Email Eva@colormerad.com and she can work out volunteering. You will get shirts, but no glasses, but those shirts are AWESOME
The Calgary event sold out in less than one day. Any timelines on if and when there will be more slots opening up?
